520 Bridge Closure One Of Several Traffic Hassles This Weekend
One direction of the 520 bridge will be closed Friday night until early Monday morning. There will also be I-5 and I-90 closures.
BELLEVUE, WA - The eastbound lanes of SR 520 will be closed all weekend beginning Friday night so crews can extend the HOV lane toward the Montlake area in Seattle, according to WSDOT. The westbound lanes will not be affected and will be open to traffic.
The closure begins Friday night at 11 p.m. and will last until 5 a.m. Monday at the latest. The closure spans the entire bridge from I-5 to 84th Avenue Northeast. WSDOT crews will also repave a portion of Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and repair electrical and drainage systems.
