67-Year-Old Pedestrian Critically Injured In Bellevue Crash
Police said a man in a crosswalk was critically injured after he was hit by an SUV Sunday night.

BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue Police said a 67-year-old man remained in critical condition Monday afternoon after he was hit by an SUV Sunday night. Officers were called to 145th Place Southeast, near Southeast 18th Street, just after 7 p.m. Sunday. Investigators said the driver of a dark SUV hit the man as he attempted to cross the street in a marked area. Medics took the man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Monday afternoon, police said an investigation into what happened was ongoing. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, but detectives are still piecing together the circumstances surrounding the crash.
