📰 News we're reading

• Billing errors lead to $410K in physician group refunds (beckersphysicianleadership.com) — Bellevue-based Puget Sound Physicians must refund over $410,000 plus interest to low-income patients treated at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics after years of missed charity-care refunds. If you received emergency care there since 2020, you may soon see a check, as the practice also agreed to follow Washington's charity care rules more closely going forward.

• Theo Lawrence Shares Haunting New Original 'In My Prime' (gratefulweb.com) — Bellevue music fans can look ahead to Wintergrass 2027, where rising country artist Theo Lawrence is slated to perform during the February festival. His new single "In My Prime" follows a breakout year of major tours, TV appearances, and festival slots, and his upcoming dates stretch from San Francisco to Texas before eventually bringing his vintage-tinged sound to Bellevue.

• With several transportation options, Seattle is easy and affordable for visitors to navigate (adn.com) — New light rail service now connects Seattle across Lake Washington to Bellevue and on to Redmond, giving locals and visitors a cheap alternative to driving and parking. With an Orca card, you can easily combine trains, buses, monorail, ferries, and even airport connections, making trips between Bellevue, downtown Seattle, and nearby attractions more convenient and affordable.
