Armed With 2 Large Knives, Bellevue Man Captures Burglar
The man found two strangers burglarizing his house. So the homeowner grabbed two big kitchen knives.

BELLEVUE, WA - A West Bellevue homeowner helped police catch a would-be burglar recently - with the help of two big kitchen knives.
Around 2 a.m. Monday, a man awoke to the sound of footsteps inside his home along the 10000 block of Southeast 7th Street. When he went to check out the noises, the homeowner startled two burglars rooting around in his stuff.
One burglar fled from the house, the other one ran into basement.

The homeowner went to the kitchen and grabbed two knives. He went into the basement, ordered the burglar to get on the ground, and held him there until police arrived.
Police found the burglar with the homeowner's car keys and credit cards, plus a backpack full of other items taken from the home. He was taken to jail on charges of residential burglary, second-degree theft, and possession of stolen property.

The burglar that ran from the house was not found, although police did search the area with a K9.
