Bad Crash On I-405 Could Cause Long Delays: WSP
The crash only involved one vehicle, but the cleanup might take a while.

BELLEVUE, WA - A serious single-car crash along I-405 in Bellevue might cause long delays this afternoon, according to state troopers.
The crash happened before 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes near Southeast 8th Street. As of 1:10 p.m., Bellevue fire crews were working to extricate one person from the vehicle, although the person only suffered minor injuries.
Traffic was blocking the two left lanes of I-405, and the backup stretched back as far north as the SR 520 interchange. For trips west, WSDOT recommended drivers use the 520 floating bridge.
