Beauty and the Beast

Shown at BYT in 2007 and 2012, this retelling of the fairy tale has captured BYT audiences. Belle is different from everyone in her small village and knows not to judge a book by its cover. But her strength and open mind will be challenged when her community is threatened. Will she be able to protect herself and break the curse placed on her new-found friends? Come enjoy the classic tale, with a few twists. Running time is approximately two hours with an intermission. This show is appropriate for all ages.

All seats are reserved, and we do sell out. We highly recommend buying your tickets early.

There are no refunds once tickets are purchased. The Bellevue Youth Theatre accepts cash, check (payable to the City of Bellevue), Visa and MasterCard. Phone orders must pay by Visa or MasterCard

Ticket Prices: Tickets are $12 each if you purchase them in advance. If purchased after tech week* begins, the ticket prices go up to $15 each. We also have $8 shows on the dates noted below for each show.

*What is tech week? It's the week when the cast performs in show conditions with lights, sound, costume, and makeup. Tech week is the week beginning the Monday leading up to the first show. For example:
