Bellevue Aquatic Center Reopens Wednesday, By Appointment

Guests will be required to wear face coverings any time they are not in the water.

BELLEVUE, WA — The Bellevue Aquatic Center is reopening for modified visits, following a lengthy closure related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. King County remains in Phase 2 of Washington's Safe Start plan, which allows pools to operate under certain restrictions.

All visits to the aquatic center require a reservation, which can be made over the phone at 425-452-4444, or via the city's website. Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 5, Pool hours are available Monday through Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

Guests can reserve time for lap swims, water exercise and warm-water therapy. Group classes, swim lessons and pool party rentals remain on-hold until future phases.

According to the city, visitors must wear face coverings any time they are not in the pool. Guests are encouraged to pay with credit cards, debit cards or checks and arrive in their swimsuits to limit contact with others as much as possible.
