EBA endorses James Alberson for election to Renton City Council.

A 22-year resident of the city, James is an active member of the Renton Chamber’s Board of Directors and has served as the Chairman of the Board for the last three years. During his time at the helm, James has worked alongside small business owners, government officials, and private stakeholders to successfully navigate the economic fallout from the pandemic.

As Renton and the Eastside face unprecedented growth in the coming years, James is well-positioned to guide the city to continued prosperity while staying above partisan politics.

A business owner himself, James understands the challenges facing Renton. As the owner and principal of Top Tier Training & Development, James has helped small and medium-sized companies succeed in a competitive marketplace. This experience will be vital as Renton’s hospitality and retail sectors emerge from the pandemic.

James has earned the endorsement of two EBA supported incumbents: outgoing Renton City Council President Randy Corman, whose seat he hopes to fill, and Renton Mayor Armondo Pavone. Both individuals have modeled the smart, collaborative approach to governing that we expect James will follow.
