Bellevue High Student Expelled Over Threat: Police Blotter

BELLEVUE, WA - A Bellevue High School student was expelled recently after allegedly making threats against his school.
Last Wednesday, Bellevue High students and a parent reported seeing threats on a social media site. Police took him into custody for making the threats - but a search of the student's home turned up no weapons. He was later expelled by the school district.

June 4
Reckless burning, 600 120th Ave Northeast:Officers responded to assist fire with a malicious mischief compliant. Sometime overnight a suspect set a large fire on the sidewalk near the business wall. There was damage to sidewalk and slight smoke damage to building. Report taken.

June 7
Missing person: Two Bellevue K-9 Officers assisted Kirkland PD with the initial search for a missing 5-year old. The child was eventually later located safe at his grandmother’s in Seattle.
DUI, SE 24th St/148th Ave SE: Intoxicated subject was contacted sleeping in the back of her SUV. Subject was repeatedly warned not to drive or turn on the vehicle. Subject however decided to drive a few minutes later and was immediately stopped by officer. DUI investigation ensued, and the driver was arrested for DUI.
June 9
Domestic assault, 600 Bellevue Way: Boyfriend and girlfriend were out dancing. Girlfriend danced with another guy, boyfriend responded by assaulting her. Boyfriend booked into jail for domestic violence assault.
Suicide attempt, 11300 Northeast 4th Street:Subject was observed by an Officer leaning against the guardrail over I-405 and upset. Officers grabbed the subject as he attempted to launch himself over the railing onto the freeway. Subject was transported to the hospital for treatment.
