Bellevue Man Dies After Getting Hit On I-5 In Oregon

WOODBURN, OR - A 50-year-old man from Bellevue was hit and killed on I-5 on Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. near Woodburn, which is about 30 miles south of Portland.

According to Oregon state police, drivers began calling 911 when they saw Brian Caine standing in the roadway. By the time police arrived, Caine had been hit by multiple vehicles.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Southbound I-5 was closed until around 11 a.m. for an investigation, according to police.
