Bellevue Police Search For 'Prolific' Mail Thief

Police said the 31-year-old suspect is driving a stolen vehicle and wanted in connection with several other thefts in the region.

BELLEVUE, WA — The Bellevue Police Department is asking residents to be on the lookout for a 31-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a string of mail thefts from Snohomish County to Pierce County. Police said he was most recently spotted in the Crossroads and Lake Hills areas. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.

Police shared a home surveillance video from late April showing a subject in a white SUV appearing to take items from a row of mailboxes. Investigators said the vehicle seen in the video is believed to be a stolen 2020 GMC Yukon with Washington license plates "BTB7836."
