Bellevue Restaurant Closed Over Health Code Violations: King County
The violations ranged from failure to wash produce to a malfunctioning refrigerator, according to King County.

BELLEVUE, WA - King County health inspectors closed a Bellevue restaurant this week for a range of food safety violations. Udupi Cafe, 14625 Northeast 24th St., was closed on Wednesday morning, according to King County. The restaurant will be re-inspected and allowed to reopen as soon as health inspectors confirm that the violations have been corrected.
Here are the violations health inspectors found, according to King County:
- Failure to properly wash produce
- Potentially hazardous foods at unsafe temperatures
- Inadequate facilities to control temperature of potentially hazardous food, cold holding
- Handwashing facilities not working
- Imminent health hazard: malfunctioning walk-in refrigerator
