Bellevue Shooting Suspect Might Be On The Run

Francisco Chavez Bedolla was jailed for shooting his cousin. He's out now and may be on the run, according to police.

BELLEVUE, WA - Bellevue police are trying to track down a man accused of shooting his cousin during an argument earlier this month. A $750,000 warrant has been issued for Francisco Chavez Bedolla, 32.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. on Dec. 2 at the Illahee Apartments along Bel-Red Road. Bellevue police were the first to arrive and found the victim with life-threatening injuries.

Bedolla was jailed for first-degree domestic violence assault that same day. He was released on Dec. 3 after posting bond.

Police say Bedolla is now "taking steps to avoid prosecution."
