Bellevue SWAT Team Responds To Father-Son Domestic Incident
The incident happened late Sunday night in the Lake Hills neighborhood.

BELLEVUE, WA - The Bellevue police SWAT team was involved in a standoff Sunday night related to a domestic violence incident. A 21-year-old man assaulted his father and then barricaded himself inside the home, police said.
The incident began near 2:30 p.m. Sunday when police were called for the assault. Police discovered that the 21-year-old had previously threatened police and may have had access to weapons, so the SWAT team was called in.
The SWAT team surrounded the home, and the suspect surrendered near 7:30 p.m. He was arrested on a fourth-degree assault charge. The victim was not seriously injured, according to police.
