Bellevue Woman Dies, Infant Injured In Crash On I-5

The crash happened late Saturday night in SeaTac. The 21-year-old woman's infant was riding in the car with her.

SEATAC, WA - A 21-year-old woman from Bellevue died in a crash on I-5 late Saturday night. Anjelika L. Olland was ejected from her vehicle after she swerved to avoid stopped traffic, according to Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 near the 188th/Orillia Road exit.

According to police, a 29-year-old man from Seattle slowed down because of stopped traffic in front of him. Holland was right behind, but was going too fast to stop. She swerved, hitting the Seattle man's car and a guardrail. She was ejected from her 2003 Saturn L200.

Two other vehicles were involved. None of the people in those vehicles was seriously injured. The infant riding with Holland was taken to Harborview for treatment. The 1-year-old girl has life-threatening injuries, according to Washington State Patrol.
