Woman's Body Found On Bellevue Trail, Investigation Underway
Detectives with the Bellevue Police Department are working to learn the circumstances around a death on Coal Creek Trail.

BELLEVUE, WA — Detectives are investigating a woman's death after her body was found along a Bellevue trail Monday morning. Police were called to the Coal Creek trail just after 9:30 a.m. Officers said the woman's body was visible from the trail, but there were no obvious signs of trauma. Investigators will process the scene and canvass the area for any evidence. The King County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death.
The woman has not been identified, and detectives have not said if there is anything suspicious about the death.
Bellevue Police said more information on the case will be released as it becomes available.
