If People are Adorable, Are Canines "A-dog-able?"

Dear humankind,

First, I think we dogs get a bad rap. No dog was ever dogmatic, people are.

If I “smell like a dog” well, what’s wrong with that? No dog ever turned up their nose and left me because of the way I smelled.

Its people who sniff, turn up their noses, and walk away from one another.

Then there are dogs as man’s “best friend.” Look at what happens when man is our “best friend.” Have you ever seen some of the designer dogs our “best friends” have inflicted upon us? I mean, really. If you breed a perfectly good Bulldog with a Shih Tzu you deserve what you get.

And what’s with “all men are dogs,” I ask? Dogs don’t wage war, beat their partners, or neglect their human children; people do.

And lastly, we dogs can’t understand why it is that whenever we do our business, wherever we do our business – that people make their business to pick up after us.

We might sniff and snack on what we leave behind for one another-but we don’t pick it up in little blue plastic bags. What's with that?

In conclusion, some of the things dogs see people do are enough to make a dog scratch his….
