Where's the beef, Mitt?
The Republican Party platform for 2012 is long on what but short on how.

In a the classic 1984 television commercial for a popular hamburger chain actress Clara Peller opens up a very large hamburger bun only to uncover a surprisingly small hamburger patty.
She angrily exclaims, "Where's the Beef?"
I get much the same reaction attempting to peer beneath the hood of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign platform, looking for the substance to his political agenda and his intentions for leading our nation should he become our president next January.
What I discover is a lot about what he wants to accomplish but not a lot of how he intends to accomplish his goals for our nation.

When it comes to his foreign policy views it seems that Mitt has even less to say. What he said last week about the terrorist attack on U.S. diplomatic personnel in Libya , does not show him in a good light.
I certainly hope he can come up with some beefy facts and meaty figures before the presidential debates next month....

I think we all can agree that our nation deserves more beef than buns.
