City, Bellevue College To Host Diversity Event

The public is invited to discuss how the city can use its resources to celebrate its multicultural identity.

BELLEVUE, WA - The city is partnering with Bellevue College to host a forum on how resources can be used to celebrate the community's diversity. The event is free and open to all residents. It will be held Saturday, June 30, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Bellevue College, C Building at 3000 Landerholm Circle SE.

In addition to participating in the forum, community members are encouraged to take an online survey available through the city's website. Initial community feedback will be discussed at the June 30 forum.

The forum is part of a larger conversation about how to utilize current community resources and facilities for an array of cultural opportunities. Bellevue has grown considerably in recent years and is now one of the most diverse in the state, with over 50 percent of residents being people of color, according to a statement from the city.
