Garbage Truck Loses Brakes, Smashes Car In Bellevue
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. and shut down the Coal Creek Parkway until 4:30 p.m.

BELLEVUE, WA - A garbage truck lost its breaks and smashed into a small car on Wednesday afternoon along Coal Creek Parkway. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m., and caused the closure of the road for about four hours. The crash was reported near the intersection of Forest Drive Southeast in the Somerset section of Bellevue.
The driver of the small car that was hit - a Honda - suffered only minor injuries, and the truck driver was not injured.
