Crews Will Be 'Potholing' At Enatai Beach Park
The noisy work will get underway as early as March 4.

From King County: King County Wastewater Treatment Division is continuing field investigations to inform design of a sewer upgrade project in Mercer Island and Bellevue. Beginning as early as March 4, crews will conduct potholing work to identify existing utilities near the project route. Crews will work in Enatai Beach Park and at Sweyolocken Pump Station to confirm locations of existing utilities. This work will last up to two days.
What you can expect for potholing
- Work hours 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays only, beginning March 4.
- Work is expected to last half a day at each location, depending on field conditions.
- A vacuum truck will be placed on site while work is underway.
- Noise from work equipment and vacuum truck.
- When work is complete, each site will be restored to existing site conditions according to City of Bellevue standards.
- Enatai Beach Park will remain accessible.
