Dam Big Rescue: Troopers Save Beaver Lost On I-405

BELLEVUE, WA - A large beaver was spotted ambling along the shoulder of I-405 in Bellevue on Friday afternoon. But the beaver made it back to the safety of a nearby creek with the help of a few Washington State Patrol troopers.

The rodent rescue happened around 5 p.m. Friday near Southeast 8th Street, according to WSP. That location is right above Richards Creek at the north end of the Mercer Slough.
