Diesel Spill Near Bellevue Threatens Lake Washington
The Bellevue fire department responded to the diesel spill on Monday night.

NEWCASTLE, WA - A large diesel spill at a gas station along Lake Washington Boulevard happened Monday night, threatening Lake Washington.
The Bellevue fire department was responding to the spill, which was located at a Shell gas station near the intersection of Lake Washington Boulevard and Southeast 64th Street. The spill was reported around 8 p.m. Monday.

A tanker was filling a diesel tank on Monday night when the tank overflowed, according to KOMO News. Crews were working to stop the diesel from spilling into a storm drain that empties into Lake Washington.
