Dud fireworks can still be explosive!

They don't go in the garbage, or to household hazardous waste facilities. So how do you safely get rid of these duds?

After last night’s festivities, you may find undetonated fireworks in your area.  They can still go off.

For Unincorporated King County (or suburban cities that contract with the King County Sheriff’s office) call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311 and an officer will collect them.

King County residents may take small residential fireworks to the Seattle Police Firing Range at 11030 E. Marginal Way S., Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 206-684-7474.
