Eastside Fashion: FNO & Fall Fashion Trends at Neiman Marcus!

It's that time of year again! No, not Christmas! It's Fashion's Night Out!

Both and the will have FNOs on Sept. 8.

will host Fashion's Night Out for the second year in a row on Thursday, Sept. 8. It will be an event with shopping, fashion shows and other treats. So, mark your calenders, ladies!

Last year, more than 5,000 fashion lovers packed The Bravern to experience the fall fashion trends, making it one of the largest FNO events on the West Coast. This year, The Bravern is THE place to be for FNO, featuring some of the hottest designers. Walk the red carpet hosted by and get celebrity treatment as photographers snap photos of your arrival.

Some of the highlights will be:

Fall Runway Shows:  6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. 

Fashion Show:  7:30 p.m. 

Seattle Art Institute Styling Contest: 6- 10 p.m. 

After Party:   9- 11 p.m. 

But the Bellevue Collection will hosting Fashion's Night Out in the center court rom 7 to  10 p.m. Sept. 8.

You'll need to RSVP to the ‘Bellevue Collection Celebrates Fashion’s Night Out’ event on Facebook, and then be one of the first 200 people to arrive and check in to receive an exclusive FNO swag bag, according to the event's webpage. If you've RSVP'd and but you're not one of the first 200 people, you can still get a reusable FNO bag.

Many of the retailers will have special offers, such as offering a complimentary consultation and espresso beverage, Aeropostale offering $10 off a purchase of $50 or more, and entering to win a handbag from . Click here for a full list of offers.

Attendees who go to Bellevue Square also can enter to win a $1,000 Bellevue Collection Gift certificate. There will also be models showing off the latest fashions in Center Court at Bellevue Square.

Neiman Marcus trends

While getting the 411 on Fashion Night Out at The Bravern I was invited to get a sneak peak into the fall fashion trends at Neiman Marcus at The Bravern! It was amazing. This fall every designer is really stepping up!

As I said in my previous , Fall 2011 is going to be all about the mod colors! () But one color that really stands out this fall is bordeaux! Neiman Marcus' “The Book” describes bordeaux this way: "Saturated shades of wine and roses inspire the season's rich color story." This color is so warm and perfect for fall.

Another big trend is fur! As they told me at the showing “Fur, fur and more fur! It's a must for your fall wardrobe.” So look for fur vests, coats, and even purses!

When they brought me to their extravagant shoe collection, I thought I was in shoe Heaven. They had almost any kind of shoe you could ever think of -- and some you never would have thought of. For example, Christian Louboutin has came out with new shoes that are made from trash! The “Ecotrash” heels are real trash found right out of the ateliers dumpsters at Christian Louboutin. The shoes incorporate thread, postage stamps, leftover sequins, and fabric swatches from past seasons. But just because it's trash doesn't mean that it's worthless. The chic “Ecotrash” slingback heels cost $1,095!

I also got to try samples on the brand new fall fragrances coming out. I tried Bottega Ventea and L'essence Balenciaga, which come out in September. But my favorite fragrance I tried was by Prada, called "Prada Candy."

It's a unique scent because Prada usually comes out with more sophisticated smelling scents, but "Prada Candy" has a more fun, sweet smell. All I have to say is this fragrance makes me want to eat my arm! Candy is EXACTLY what it smells like. Its smells so good! “Prada Candy” is an amazing blend of warm caramel & vanilla pound cake! It’s my new signature scent. It came out Aug. 8. I highly recommend this! (Just don’t eat your arm!)
