Join us on Saturday afternoon at ASCE’s “Kids Engineering a Better World” event at Southcenter Mall. The event focuses on helping children understand the practical side to engineering through hands-on activities like building gum-drop domes and going on a sustainable scavenger hunt. Representatives from the Seattle Chapter of the American Society for Civil Engineers will demonstrate how water filters work with soda bottles and pebbles and show howto make a battery can be made from a lemon.
