What is Wing Chun? Wing Chun is a Martial Art with emphasis on efficiency, conserving energy and center line theories. It excellent for self defense and can be practiced by anyone regardless of age or physical stature. Wing Chun focuses on body stability, footwork and hand techniques. There are no high kicks in Wing Chun. There are some similarities to Tai Chi (Taiji).
Class Structure: Wing Chun class will be loosely structured with light warm-ups, Chi-Gong and Taiji are incorporated into the warm up. The rest of the class will be focusing on the basic wing Chun forms and techniques, drills, discussions of Wing Chun Concepts, eastern philosophy, and good tea! Dress comfortably, don’t worry if you are late just show up and be ready to learn and practice!
