Fire Badly Damages Bellevue Apartment Building

The large fire broke out early in the morning on March 24, according to Bellevue fire.

BELLEVUE, WA - A large fire broke out in a Crossroads-area building early Sunday morning, according to Bellevue fire.

Near 2:30 a.m., Bellevue firefighters arrived at the building along the 14300 block of Northeast 7th Place to find a "large volume" fire. The entire south side of the building was engulfed in flames.

Bellevue firefighters, with help from Kirkland and Redmond, were able to knock down the fire quickly. No one was injured in the fire. The fire broke out in the Stoneridge Townhomes complex near the intersection of Northeast 8th Street and 143rd Avenue Northeast.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation on Sunday.
