Redmond Firefighter Injured Battling Blaze At Apartment Building
Bellevue and Redmond firefighters responded to a fire at an apartment building around 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

BELLEVUE, WA - Firefighters from Bellevue and Redmond responded to a blaze in an apartment building around 11:15 a.m. Thursday. The scene of the fire is in the Overlake area near the Redmond border, close by to Microsoft and Nintendo offices. The fire had been brought under control by noon, according to the Bellevue fire department.
The fire was located in one unit on the second floor of the building along the 4200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast, and did not spread to other apartments. No residents were injured in the fire, but a Redmond firefighter did sustain minor injuries, according to the department.
