Firefighters Battle Flames At Newscastle Home
Photos show smoke billowing from roof of house west of Lake Boren

BELLEVUE, WA -- Bellevue Firefighters are working to find out what started a fire at a home in the Newcastle area, on the 7900 block of 128th Place Southwest. Firefighters said one pet died in the fire, three others were saved and everyone else is accounted for. A photo from a KOMO News helicopter showed white smoke pouring from the home early Wednesday afternoon.

All occupants, including the furry ones, are safely removed and the fire is now under control.

Bellevue Fire says the flames are now under control. Information is not yet available regarding how far the fire spread and what caused it start. Wednesday afternoon Bellevue Fire Department released a few photos from the scene:
