First Real Rain Event Coming To Puget Sound This Weekend
Hopefully you've had your fill of dry, sunny weather because there's a real rain event forecast for this weekend.

BELLEVUE, WA - There's a weather system out over the Pacific right now moving slowly toward Puget Sound. It's mission: bring an end to our long streak of hot, dry weather. The first major rain event of the season will roll through the region on Sunday and bring up to 2 inches of rain to the Cascades.
The rain is expected to last much of the day Sunday and continue into Monday. There's just a chance of showers for the remainder of next week, but temperatures will remain cool and likely won't break the 70 degree mark.
It's possible that Saturday will be the last day of summer. It's going to be sunny and clear with temperatures in the upper 70s. After that? Well, here's what the National Weather Service is predicting:

Sunday: Rain after 11am. High near 66. South southwest wind 14 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Sunday Night: Rain. Low around 54. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
