Garbage Truck Hits Carport, Displaces Bellevue Residents: Fire Department
The Bellevue fire department released a photo of a carport leaning on a garbage truck.
BELLEVUE, WA - Twenty-five residents of a Bellevue apartment building were temporarily displaced Tuesday afternoon after a garbage truck hit a carport in the parking lot of the building. The Bellevue fire department released a photo of the carport leaning on a garbage truck. The accident happened at an apartment building along the 15500 block of Northeast 12th Street in the Crossroads area.
The people displaced include 20 adults and five children. Red Cross Northwest responded to the scene to provide shelter and assistance to those displaced.
