Get Free Face Coverings In Bellevue On Tuesday
King County will provide free, reusable masks at a drive-thru event in Bellevue on Tuesday.
BELLEVUE, WA — King County will hand out free face coverings in Bellevue on Tuesday, as part of an ongoing effort to distribute 25 million masks amid the coronavirus pandemic.
"With recent directives from the state Department of Health and Public Health — Seattle & King County, face coverings should be worn in indoor public spaces and outdoors when six-feet distances can't be maintained," county officials wrote in a news release. "Face coverings can help reduce transmission of the virus, and along with hand washing and social distancing, play an important role in ending the outbreak."
Tuesday's drive-thru event is open to all King County residents and is the third public distribution event in the county to date. Each resident is eligible for two reusable cloth face coverings, and each vehicle can grab masks for up to six other members of the household.
