Harsh: Extra DUI Patrols For 420 Holiday, Police Say
WSP will deploy a special DUI vehicle in Puget Sound this cannabis holiday weekend.

SEATTLE, WA — There are about 4 million better things to do while high on cannabis than drive a car.
And if you really need that extra nudge this 420 holiday, consider this: Washington State Patrol is deploying a special RV (yeah, like Poulsbo RV, like grandpa's 60-foot Raging Eagle behemoth) this weekend specifically to catch people driving while high.
"From a simple breath test station, the unit has now become a full DUI investigation center. Drug Recognition Experts (DRE) are now on board for evaluations as well as phlebotomists for legal blood draws. The process builds stronger cases for all DUI (alcohol/drug) prosecution," is how WSP described the 36-foot Mobile Impaired Driving Unit in a press release.

In other words, police are extremely ready to give you a DUI this weekend for driving while high. Take the bus, rent a LimeBike, or hop on light rail — all pretty fun options if you're a little high, anyway.
WSP's mobile DUI unit starts rolling Friday morning, and it'll be out the whole weekend.
