Homeless Bank Robber Arrested In Seattle
Police say the 34-year-old homeless man robbed four banks in Lynnwood, Seattle, and Bellevue.

BELLEVUE, WA - A 34-year-old homeless man was arrested in Seattle Wednesday after allegedly robbing a bank in Bellevue, and he is the prime suspect in a series of recent bank robberies around Puget Sound.
The suspect allegedly robbed a Chase branch in downtown Bellevue Wednesday around 12:30 p.m., demanding money from a teller via a written note. Then, he hailed a cab and fled the area, according to Bellevue police.
Later in the day, a Bellevue police officer in Seattle saw the alleged robber in the First Hill neighborhood. He was arrested and taken to jail on charges of first-degree robbery and attempted robbery.

The alleged robber first appeared in the area on Jan. 18 when he hit a Wells Fargo branch along 196th Street in Lynnwood. Then on Monday, he robbed a US Bank branch in Lynnwood just a few blocks west of the Wells Fargo branch. Lynnwood police circulated surveillance photos of the suspect wearing a maroon cardigan and scarf, and making no attempt to cover his face.
Bellevue police reported the man is also suspected of robbing at least one bank in Seattle.
