4 Pets Rescued During Bellevue Fire Tuesday
Firefighters responded to the fire in a home along Lake Sammamish around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

BELLEVUE, WA - Bellevue firefighters rescued four pets from a house fire on the east of Bellevue Tuesday morning. The fire was in a home along the 800 block of 179th Court Southeast, which is located between the lake and the eastern end of Northeast 8th Street.
Firefighters had the fire under control within about 20 minutes. The fire started in the home's furnace, according to firefighters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Two dogs and two cats were in the home.
