Illegal Marijuana Grow Found After Bellevue House Fire
Firefighters discovered the grow after responding to a fire around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

BELLEVUE, WA - Police are investigating a possible illegal marijuana grow operation inside a single-family home in the Woodbridge neighborhood.
The investigation comes after a fire broke out in the home early Tuesday morning. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in under 15 minutes. The fire broke out around 7 a.m. at a home along the 1300 block of 121st Avenue Southeast.
The fire may have been caused by a makeshift electrical panel inside the home. The marijuana grow was located in the basement of the home. No one was inside at the time of the fire, and the home was only minimally damaged, the fire department said.
