How Bellevue Police Solved A Random Burglary In A Few Hours
The suspect broke into a woman's home and stole her car and other items. Hours later, police arrested two Bellevue High School students.

BELLEVUE, WA - Bellevue police solved a random nighttime burglary this week with a little teamwork, and some surveillance video. A woman living along Cliff Place was burglarized near 3 a.m. Monday, and the suspects made off with the woman's wallet, electronics, and her car. Little did the burglars know they were being recorded by surveillance cameras.
Police distributed images from the burglary among various officers. One officer recognized the burglar as a 15-year-old Bellevue High School student he knew. The following day, the student was arrested at school along with another 15-year-old.
Police found the Cliff Place victim's possessions at the home of one of the teens, plus property from other burglaries.
