'I'll Kill Him': Bellevue Man Threatened Probation Officer
Antonio Smith allegedly had an "obsession" with guns, according to court records.

BELLEVUE, WA - A local man who has an "obsession" with guns allegedly threatened to kill his probation officer. Antonio P. Smith is now facing a charge of threatening to murder a federal employee.
According to court documents, Smith came to the attention of federal authorities after employees at Wade's Eastside Guns reported him. Smith had gone to the store several times last December asking about potentially illegal gun modifications, according to court records.
Smith allegedly bought a box of ammunition from Wade's, which he was prohibited from doing due to a prior burglary conviction. Smith was arrested in January for illegally possessing the ammunition. He served time in federal detention and a halfway house for that offense, according to court records.

On Sept. 12, he reported to the probation office at the SeaTac detention center. In a conversation with his case manager, Smith allegedly said "I'll kill him," when he was told which probation officer he would report to.
"How do I cut this guy off?" Smith allegedly asked the case manager, according to court documents.

"Cut who off?" the case manager asked.
Smith then got up and walked out of the case manager's office.
