Infant Found Crawling In Bellevue Street, Covered In Dirt
Bellevue police couldn't locate either of the 2-year-old's parents for more than an hour.
BELLEVUE, WA — An infant was found crawling along a Bellevue street recently, and it took police about an hour to track down one of the 2-year-old's parents.
The incident happened on April 16 around 4:30 p.m. when the child was spotted crawling in the Newport Hills area along Southeast 59th Street. Police said the child was wet and covered in dirt.
Police later found the child's mother sleeping in a nearby apartment. The incident was reported to child protective services.

Car prowl, 3100 block of 167th Avenue Northeast
The caller advised that two subjects had just broken into a vehicle and were running towards Ardmore Elementary School. A responding officer saw the suspects as they fled on foot towards the back yard of a residence. A perimeter was quickly established, and they were later located by K-9 Ghost and Officer Lange after a lengthy track. Stolen property and bags of burglary tools were recovered from several locations along the K9 track.
April 16
Drugs / Warrants, 600 block of Bellevue Way Northeast
Security officers called in a suspicious car in the parking garage. The plates on the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle. Narcotics paraphernalia was visible inside the vehicle. Officers contacted two suspects that were found to have warrants out for their arrest, and they were taken into custody. A third suspect was found inside the mall and a foot pursuit ensued. That suspect was later located at 112 AVE NE and NE 4 ST where he was taken into custody without incident. The vehicle was impounded back to the station pending a search warrant. All three suspects were booked into Jail.
April 19
Theft, 900 block of 112th Ave Northeast
The victim was working out at the location and had her diamond ring set next to her personal belongings. The victim completed her workout and discovered that the ring was missing.
April 20
Disturbance, 600 block of 156th Avenue Southeast
Witnesses reported a male and female in the parking lot causing a disturbance with the female kicking and damaging a nearby vehicle. Both subjects were located and found to be in a dating relationship. A police report was taken and referred to the City Attorney.
Assault, 15800 block of Northeast 15th Street
The victim was driving into the apartment complex when he was confronted by an unknown male. The male struck the victim’s vehicle then instigated a physical fight with the victim. Approximately 15 other males joined in assaulting the victim by kicking and striking him. The victim ran away and called 9-1-1. The victim was able to identify the suspect as one of his assaulters. The suspect was arrested, transported, and booked into jail. The investigation is ongoing.
April 21
DUI Arrest, 156th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 16th Street
The suspect’s vehicle was stopped after a concerned citizen contacted Police because he was following the suspect on 156th driving on one of his rims and weaving in and out of traffic. The suspect was arrested for DUI.
