'Low End Pyro' Dances With Fire At Bellevue Bus Shelter

The man admitted to being a "low-end pyro" after police put out his fire.

BELLEVUE, WA - A man was caught dancing around a fire at at King County Metro bus shelter over the weekend, according to Bellevue police. The incident happened close to 6 p.m. Saturday night near the intersection of Bel-Red Road and 140th Avenue Northeast.

According to a police incident report, Bellevue firefighters first noticed the strange scene and contacted police. When police arrived, the found the man, who was armed with three throwing knives, "dancing around a small fire."

Police put the man in cuffs because of the throwing knives, which is when he told them he lit the fire out of boredom and because he's "a low-end pyro."

Police forwarded the case to prosecutors with a charge of reckless burning, a Class C felony in the state.
