Major Crash On I-405 In Bellevue, 'Expect Long Delays'
The collision caused an oil spill in the roadway, which might take a long time to clean up.
BELLEVUE, WA - A major crash in the southbound lanes of I-405 in Bellevue may cause delays for hours. The crash had closed the four right lanes of the highway north of the I-90 interchange, but there was reportedly oil spillage across three lanes.
As of 10:30 a.m., there was about a 5-mile backup as a result of the crash.
The crash involved a passenger car and a semitrailer. The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to WSP.
