Bellevue Sees First Homicide In 2 Years

A man found shot to death at a Bellevue park early Wednesday morning was murdered, police say.

BELLEVUE, WA — An 18-year-old man found shot to death early Wednesday morning at a Bellevue park was the victim of homicide, police say.

Bellevue police responded to Goldsmith Neighborhood Park around 12:30 a.m. on a call about shots fired at the park. They arrived to find the victim dead of gunshot wounds. There were no suspects found at the scene, and police said there's likely no threat to the public.

Goldsmith Neighborhood Park is located behind a large apartment complex near the Microsoft Campus along 148th Avenue Northeast.
