Man Shot At Downtown Bellevue Hotel: Police

The shooting happened early Sunday morning. The victim was a man from Wenatchee.

BELLEVUE, WA - Police are investigating a shooting that left a Wenatchee man wounded early Sunday morning. The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. at the Red Lion Hotel along Main Street in the downtown area.

Police responded to the hotel after someone called to report the shooting. At the same time, police said, a 22-year-old man was dropped off at Overlake Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Police were able to determine that the victim at Overlake had been shot at the Red Lion Inn.

The victim was expected to survive his injury. The shooting is still under investigation, according to Bellevue police.
