Man Tries To Run Over Ex-Girlfriend In Bellevue

BELLEVUE, WA — A man was arrested recently for threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend and other people at a south Bellevue apartment complex, according to police.
The incident happened on Aug. 7 around 6:30 p.m. at an apartment near Lewis Creek Park. A woman there called police after her ex showed up drunk and armed. The ex then followed the woman to another apartment and began beating on the door. He threatened to shoot everyone in that apartment, police said, unless the woman came out.
When she did leave the apartment, the man got in his car and tried to run her over, driving onto the sidewalk in the process. The man fled the scene in his car, but was arrested nearby on charges of DUI, assault, and harassment.

Aug. 5
Assault, 10500 block of Northeast 8th St
An intoxicated male subject came up from behind the victim while walking downtown, he slid his hand up the back of the victim’s skirt, touching her buttocks. He was located and detained by officers, identified by the victim and booked into jail.

Aug. 6
Car Prowl/Stolen Firearm, 600 block of 114TH Avenue Southeast
A victim called to report that he woke up this morning and found the driver’s side rear window was smashed out of his vehicle while parked in the parking lot. The subject discovered that among his belongings, he was missing a Springfield AR-15 rifle with Eotec Sights and Vortex Magnifier. The rifle was kept in a canvas rifle bag and hidden behind the driver’s seat. There is no suspect information. The victim will try to locate a serial number for the gun to have it entered as stolen.
Aug. 8
Theft/ Warrants/False Statements, 11100 block of Northeast 8 Street
The suspect entered the store and stole a $1000 pair of shoes, then entered a different store and stole additional merchandise valued at $1800. The suspect then fled the store but was contacted by loss prevention. The suspect attempted to flee, and loss prevention held suspect until police arrived and took the suspect into custody. The suspect provided false information about her name to the arresting officer. The suspect was found to have numerous felony warrants. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail. She is known to use 30 different aliases.
Aug. 9
Harassment, 300 block of 108th Avenue Northeast
The reporting party called the police to report a threat made against his life by the boyfriend of a female coworker regarding amorous text messages. Upon investigation, the reporting party provided conflicting reports of the gravity and details of the reported threat. The suspect was contacted via telephone who provided a conflicting version of events. The reporting party ultimately declined to cooperate with the investigation after being asked to provide a statement under penalty of perjury. Captain notified.
Aug. 10
Missing Person, 200 block of 107th Place Southeast
The investigating officer learned that a 20-year-old female was dropped off at the Alano Club on 8/7 and has not been heard from since. She is a suspected drug user and is likely with a friend. She was recently in an auto accident and has two broken legs and she uses crutches and a wheelchair to get around.
Felony Harassment/Domestic Disturbance/Criminal Traffic/Warrants, Bellevue Way Southeast and Southeast 10th Street
Police contacted the suspect at the above location in reference to a disturbance with a knife. Multiple callers reported that the suspect was attacking a female and was now fighting with a male who was wielding a knife. Upon arrival and securing the scene, the primary officer discovered that the suspect had assaulted his wife, and when a good Samaritan and his son stopped to assist, the suspect threatened to shoot and kill them for intervening. The Samaritan, believing the suspect’s statements, pulled out a knife, attempting to defend himself, his son, and the female that was being assaulted. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
Aug. 11
Domestic Disturbance, 14700 block of Northeast 39th Street
The suspect picked up a rock and repeatedly hit the victim’s vehicle with the rock, causing dents, scratches and other damage to the vehicle. The incident took place after an argument about their relationship became out of control. The officer was unable to contact the suspect. A subsequent summons for DV Malicious Mischief 3 was issued.
