We are thrilled to announce that internationally-acclaimed choreographer and teacher VIKTOR KABANIAEV is coming to Emerald Ballet Academy on Monday, May 5 to teach two master classes to dancers 12 and up:
4:00-5:30 p.m. Ballet technique
6:00-7:30 p.m. Contemporary
EBA students: $30/class or $50/both classes
Non-EBA students: $40/class or $70/both classes
Mr. Kabaniaev trained at the famed Vaganova School in Russia, and worked as a principal dancer in various ballet companies in the former Soviet Union, Germany and the United States. A much sought-after choreographer, he has won many awards for his cutting-edge work. Mr. Kabaniaev previously coached Miko Fogarty, and they were featured in the riveting 2012 YAGP documentary First Position.
