2 Dead In Shooting, Stabbing At Bellevue High-Rise Tower
Two people were killed and another two injured Saturday in an apparent stabbing and shooting at a Bellevue high-rise apartment tower.

BELLEVUE, WA — Two people were killed and another two were injured in a stabbing and shooting at a housewarming party Saturday evening at a high-rise apartment tower in Downtown Bellevue, police said.
Police said shortly after 8 p.m. they were responding to a report of "multiple individuals shot/stabbed" at the Elements apartment building at 958 111th Ave NE. By 8:33 p.m., police said all victims and the suspect had been accounted for, with no danger to the public.
David Nelson, a reporter with KIRO, reported that a guest at the housewarming party committed the stabbing and was then shot by another guest.

In a news conference, Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett said officers responded to "frantic" 911 calls in which "a lot of chaos could be heard in the background." Upon arriving at the scene and exiting the elevator, police found a deceased man in the third floor lobby and another critically wounded man nearby, who later died at the scene.
A third male with life-threatening injuries was brought to Harborview Medical Center, and a woman with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to Overlake Medical Center.

It was not clear which of the victims was the suspect, but all of the people involved appeared to have known each other, Mylett said.
Mylett did not share any details about what may have led to the incident, but confirmed that at least one of the deceased victims had gunshot wounds while another appeared to have died from stab wounds.
"We don't know who started this and we don't know who did what," Mylett said.
