Woman Stabbed, Man Arrested In Downtown Bellevue
Bellevue police officers have arrested a man believed to have stabbed a woman twice inside a Bellevue apartment.
BELLEVUE, WA —A 29-year-old woman is recovering at the hospital after she was stabbed twice by a man inside a downtown Bellevue apartment, according to police. Officers were called to the 300 block of Bellevue Way Northeast shortly before 2:15 p.m. Thursday. A police spokesperson said the incident did not involve the Safeway, which is situated below the residential units.

According to investigators, the woman lost a significant amount of blood, but she was able to escape the apartment and find help. Medics responded to the scene and took her to the hospital. She was expected to survive.
Police said the man suspected in the stabbing was arrested and booked into jail.
