Ryan James Fine Arts and Artist Community Supports The Sophia Way Mission "In a Big Way"
The Sophia Way celebrates its partnership with local artist community
The Sophia Way, an organization in East King County working to meet the needs of women who are experiencing homelessness, is having its annual, and most significant, fund raiser of the year March 15th – its auction and dinner "Springtime In Paris" at the Hilton Hotel in Bellevue. Ryan James Fine Arts' "Artist Group" has come out in support of The Sophia Way in a big way! The Artist Group has donated 20 high end art pieces to be auctioned the evening of the Benefit event. Even if you are not able to attend the entire Auction, you are welcome to attend the Silent Art Auction segment of the evening.
Previously located in Bellevue, Ryan James Fine Arts handles only Washington state artists and represents three categories of artists: well-known professionals, up-and-comers (the gallery has a partnership with Cornish College of the Arts) and talented hobbyists who may have art degrees but did not pursue careers in art. Also, Ryan James Fine Arts is having an exhibition art show on Friday, February 28th at The Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. where several art pieces which have been donated to The Sophia Way Auction Benefit will be on display. You will have an opportunity to bid on those pieces of artwork on at this evening’s event as well.
Katherine Jordan, Executive Director at The Sophia Way says "We are so grateful for the support of Ryan James Fine Arts; they contribute so much to our community in an effort to end homelessness for women on the Eastside. It is amazing to have them as community partners!”
