BELLEVUE, WA - A Sammamish High School student spent the week of March 18 working in the state Legislature as a page.

Abigail Hall was sponsored for the post by state Rep. Vandana Slatter, D-Bellevue. While in Olympia, Hall had a range of responsibilities, including distributing amendments on the House floor. She also received real-life civics instruction, and even participated in mock committee hearings.

Students from across the state participate in the page program each year. Learn more about it here.
